The tag for astrology led me to a post called Capricorn New Moon Collage. Here Julia I think her name is, shares her story about creating this card for herself. I was hooked. I had been looking for pictures of the Moon and even had an entry with a poem on the Moon. Getting ready for the New Moon Collage experience?
What made me interested in the first place was the combination of the two words Capricorn and Moon. At the same time, about two days ago, I was working on an astrology report for a male client. Many parts in the horoscope of this man are related to Capricorn. (Saturn next to his Sun, the 10th house, ascendant if you are into astrology). I was having a hard time finding inspiration to relate to this chart. I did not think about my own birth chart by the way. I was just plodding along and trying to imagine how things would work out for this man.
So I decided to look into this New Moon Journal process and began looking at Capricorn in my horoscope. And this was funny. Michele of the website the New Moon Journal explains the process in the New Moon cheat sheet. What you do is look for Capricorn in your birth chart and see what house it is related to. In my chart it is in the first house. The explanation on the cheat sheet is this:
Capricorn: Rebel, individual, organized, cautious, business minded, career oriented, serious. To initiate.First house: I am. Egoic. Self image. Body language. How I package and market myself. Beginnings. Spring. New Moons. Self-physically and psychologically speaking.
This sounded interesting, I had never looked at myself that way. What happened next was also not by chance. I found a way to deal with the horoscope for the client and wrote it nearly in one go. While surfing I found the phase of the Moon and it had just moved into Capricorn! Of course, this report only wanted to be written with the Moon in Capricorn.
Later that night I made my Capricorn Moon Soul Collage Card. The images and their meaning are intriguing.
I am sitting in the mountains and Capricorn and I are not facing each other. I love to walk in the mountains but Capricorn I do not want to see. Another image is the eyes of an adult being closed of by the hands of a child. I have not worked that one out yet, but apparently there is a need to not see things about myself or something like that. Then on the top it is all gold with a big crown. A royal combination this Capricorn and me. I am a Sun Sign Cancer who is the opposite to Capricorn. Born exactly on the 21st of June too. Beginning of Summer. What should I seek at the beginning of Winter? I have come to like the winter a bit more than I used too, but still it is a confronting time to me. To incubate and wait for the signs of Spring. My company is also called Wait for the Signs. But that is a different story for the next post.

Isn’t it lovely how inspiration and creativity yield inspiration and creativity and the more we put out there the more it multiplies! I love these synchronistic connections!
