Focus on Loving Yourself!

In life helping others is what comes natural to most of us. Focusing on ourselves? That is like cursing in church, how can you possibly look after yourself first? It is a tough thing to do. In the end it comes down to a shift, from outside of you to inside of you.

Can you make an appointment with yourself and say, “I love myself. I am a wonderful self. I am A-Number-One, the best myself I can be.” Can you do that?

Energy can flow and move freely only if we allow it to do so. Life and I get stuck when I block it. Thinking, judging and resenting are blocks that I use. On those days I could pomp myself up by walking, or anything to get the fire going. To burn the blocks away and prepare my path for another step forward. To keep the focus on myself!

If we all cherish our own growth, our own path, and our own selves, and do not care so much on what others are doing or saying. What a different world would we have. It is liberating since the most difficult thing for me was to make the commitment to believe that I deserve love. No one else could give me that.

It was so simple to shift my attention from the outside world where I was gathering love by being helpful. To the inner world where my self love was waiting all along. A focus on myself is no longer egotistical, it is liberating and it makes me happy. I can radiate, just like all of us.

We all have ourselves to share. If I could ever travel in space, I would love to see each and every one of us as a little light. A cosmic light visible from above. Wow, what a sight would that be.
