In my ongoing research of astrology I am investigating the soul mission and soul potential as stated in the birth horoscope. This part of the horoscope has many interesting aspects. However so far I have not often used this particular symbol of the horoscope. To get a feeling for it I would like to do some research and yes I need volunteers.

I researched for both of you the soul potential. If something of my writing about your soul potential is not clear, please ask away.
As a matter of fact the soul potential is a part of you that is present in your life already. To what extent either you lives your soul potential is up to you of course.
I do only state what your soul desires for you, as stated in your horoscope, at the time of birth. When you think about your potential and what you can potentially become you will immediately feel happy and carefree. When you think a little longer you might begin to feel uneasy and doubt might set in.

Soul potential is something we already have within us. It is a steering wheel that you can use to get where you feel best and where you belong on a soul level. From what you mention in your comment above I clearly get that you are often behind the steering wheel which is a good thing.
So now about the soul mission. Most of us tend to live the soul mission. This is what we are used to do, it is the path well trodden, best known and safe to us. It is not exactly the soul potential, it is what keeps you away from fulfilling your destiny.

I cannot help but feel this is not exactly true.
It is true that I (partly) want to belong to a group (who doesn’t?) . However, in no circumstance I wish to dominate others. On the contrary: One of my fundamental beliefs is that I do NOT dominate others. I believe that every person is responsible for what he/she does. And that everything is their own choice. NO-ONE has the right to tell others how to live!
I only give my opinion when asked for (interfering only on request
) and when I’m asked for advice, I give it without expecting them to follow it. Whether or not they use my advice is their choice and their responsability. In no way I try to impose my opinion to others. And that is a remark I have received from plenty of other people.
Oh, and I NEVER claim to know what’s best for others (or myself).

Hey, no need to apologize! It is an experiment and I welcome your feedback. It is good to hear that the pit fall, where your knowledge gets in the way of being in contact with others, is absent.
The tendency is in your horoscope though and I do not know sitting here behind the mac how aware you are of your soul mission or of the soul potential.
So in all of this, I get the idea that you do not really take anything from it. Apart from the fact that you are really living your soul potential, loving books etc and that you amuse yourself with your creativity. Thank you for joining in the experiment.
I will post about my experiences when I have given 5 people their soul potential and mission. For now I can say that the soul potential is interesting however it is only one aspect of the horoscope and I prefer to look at the bigger picture. I would also not talk to people only about their Sun Sign because that would mean that there is only 12 kind of people. That would be quite boring really.

I think you’re pretty spot-on when it comes to my reading!
I am definitely a bit of a know-it-all (in fact, my friends say my superhero name is Lady Grammatica). Communication in all things is extremely important to me, and I can have just as much or more fun talking one-on-one than out in a group where everyone does their own thing.
I’m not as sure about sharing my knowledge with others. Although I do like to do this, it never seems to be of much help! :/
The soul mission was also very good, I thought. I don’t get the sense that I spread myself too thin (I’ve got some pretty good boundaries usually), but I do sometimes brush off others’ thoughts because they don’t seem to apply to my life. I try very hard to let each believe as they will, though. After all, there are many lives and many paths to walk; mine isn’t the only way.

Your soul potential can be found in the area of family relations and the relationship you have with yourself. I can imagine that you take good care of your family members or in fact anyone in the world that you consider to be in need of help. You are sensitive in a sense that you know what others needs and you will probably provide them with exactly what they need. For yourself you are having many experiences that will teach you to recognize your gut feelings and to take action according to what you feel. The fun here is that it is very rewarding to trust your feelings and then see results and feel even better after the experience. Your self respect and how you feel about yourself and trusting your feelings can grow very quickly once you recognize this.
What is keeping you from fulfilling this soul potential is your desire to control yourself and the important people around you. You are one way or another a seeker of recognition. Being the helper you try to get that recognition. However this kind of conditional giving in order to get respect is not what will pay off in the end. Thank you so much for the reading! Oh yes, I feel the pluto-square-pluto very much these days, especially in regard to myself and others in my career (which involves helping people as the primary function). It has been a journey the last 6 months of truly identifying with what works for *me* in service of others. The notion about self-respect feels very close to me right now.
A big concern has been balancing intuition and mind – I have swung far on both ends of that pendulum over the years, most relying solely on intuition and ignoring my brain lately.
How to trust gut instinct when I have had the tendency to ignore the pragmatic side of life with very real consequences?
Recognition is a tough one – my career is calling for me to be more “out there” in the world, pushing the limits of being noticed – practically requiring it. I think the recognition here is about things not being a trade or an exchange. I give because it feels right to me and the recognition comes from that – instead of creating a currency out of it.

I like psychology & philosophy .For a long time i didn’t try to find meanings and reasons of life and why we are here. It doesn”t matter anymore or i came with the idea that human being need a reason in empty moments of life to survive spiritual.
Important is to have joy. I live in Australia, a multicultural country that gives me a lot of variety of life and experience.
I also study astrology and sometime i was wondering how much this influence me like placebo experiment. For example pisces are sensitive and reading this, my mind may believed and react in that way?

@carmen. Joy is indeed very important, it is a guide as to where we are in life and what we are making of it.
I understand your question about the placebo very well. As a matter of fact in a horoscope there is 12 signs, every human being has all 12 of them. We all have the symbolism of Pisces and we are all sensitive as human beings.
What matters when doing astrology is to look for planets or other influences in your chart in for instance Pisces. Then we can symbolically see to what degree you are influenced by Pisces. Your Sun and Moon are in Pisces. Your ascendant is in the watery sign of Cancer, and Scorpio holds your Uranus and your soul potential. So yes I can say that in astrological symbols you are quite sensitive.
