thank you Brokensoul for your comment. I like your view on surrender as taken from Matthew. When finally I surrender grace enters and then I am fine. This post I wrote two days after the death of my friend Andrea. My days then were filled with questions as to why she had to go so soon.
In God or the divine or whatever name you give it, I can indeed find all I need to live free and light. I have come to think lately that surrender is all I need. So yes, thanks for sharing it in your words. Thanks for visiting. RW

YES I want to Be like him. I said it all in the post:

" Most of all Daniel is humble, sweet, kind and he is love in action. He is walking love, it is showing all over him. I can’t get enough of it."

I am walking love and yeah, sometimes I forget about it and then people like Daniel Temmet get me back on track. Thanks Plato.

Hi Miriam,

I just wanted to post an update of my experiences with pluto square pluto. THe transit officially ends at the end of November 2009 so 2 and a half months to go. Since it started last year I list a have been in an awful job that I left and then found out I was bad-mouthed and blamed for things that were not my fault. Then I was unemployed for 7 months until late last year when a former colleague got me his old job. The short point is that that job was a nightmare, I was underminded, underappreciated and thought to be incompetent no matter what I did.

I was fired from that job last week. I am hurt but I guess I did see something like that happening. I have grown up I think but my soul feels really wounded and I am exhausted.

I know that job was bad for me and just helped me accomplish a particular goal. Now I have to face being unemployed and not knowing when I will get a job. I have learnt a hell of alot from this. I am curious to see how it will assist me in my new job, whenever I get that.

Pluto also ripped my family from me. My parents are in turmoil after it was discovered that my Dad has been seeing a prostitute for the past 9 years and has practically given her all of my parents life savings. My parents have been visiting for the past 3 weeks at the same time that I have been struggling with long hours of work for a Court deadline. It's all come down at once and I feel so drained.

Pluto is brutal but I see how it works, it rips the band-aid off and it's not pretty.

Surrender. Its a word that can strike both fear and peace in ones heart and soul. I apologize for the intrusion but I was blog browsing and your post caught my interest.

Let me put this very simply...another word I like to surrender is rest. That is exactly what Matthew 11:28-30 says it is. Take a look...
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (The Message)

I'm not going to say anymore than that. Wrap your mind around those words and chew on them a little bit. :) And you are more than welcome to intrude on my blog or contact me.

Hi hi!

I love you blog! Love TED too! Some of the world's most brilliant minds gather there to share perspective-shifting ideas...

It's sooo true - that play and curiosity are most important for inspiration.

That's probably why Google and IDEO go so far - First of all, they deliberately hire people who are highly curious and more importantly, they have successfully built cultures of fun that inspire and excite.

It's funny to think though that all those highly educated senior people in companies actually have a lot to learn from kids!

I just think there is one other key driver... the need to be part of something larger than ourselves. Somehow, when we know that what we're doing will go towards a cause larger than ourselves, we tend to feel more motivated to do our best, don't we? *Food for thought*

Really like your entries so I'll be dropping by often... Keep writing!

Take care lots,
Mariko
