I got a bunch of flowers from some astrology students. Within the Aura-Soma system the color pink refers to unconditional love, deep magenta refers to the shadow. Interesting.
Looking for a vase I heard a soft knock on our front door. I looked into two smiling faces definitely on a mission to talk about God. They were lovely talking about the bible as God’s word.
And did I attract them to my door just then? My unconditional love showed up in smiling, being not to hard on them and accepting a magazine. My shadow was there too as I judged them for coming and sharing their opinion about God.
I forgave myself for the judgement still living in me and I put the flowers in the Sun. I smiled to Spirit and gave thanks for this small lesson in judging and forgiving.
This is my first try at a Saturday Shadow story. Rules are simple:
– maximum 150 words
– a little bit of shadow that comes into the open
– now I can use the experience in my life
The context of shadow for me is those sides of me that I am not yet aware of. They can come into my awareness through experiences. Then I can realize there is more to me than I thought or realized before. Living is about being my self, realizing my full potential. This might take a whole life time or as long as I need.
