Sometimes people tell me: ‘I wish I can feel and hear and experience like you do, but I cannot do that. I am normal and not born as a paranormal or intuitive person like you.’
I don’t agree with this kind of thinking. Every one of us is born with intuition. Could it be that you hide it away, that you only think that you are not experiencing it? Or in other words that you are just not conscious of your sixth sense any more?
All people have intuition and many people just forget about it. Perhaps by using the intellect more or by pushing away the intuition or so called sixth sense. If you continue to do that, you will come to the conclusion that you are not paranormal.
When we are young and sweet, we are open to experience life. Not so many ideas in the mind yet from school and society. About how the world should be understood or what theory can be used to explain things. The way we see the world is still the way we see it.
An example. Last night my daughter was talking in her sleep and called out for Daddy. Our son was lying in our bed in between my husband and I. He said out of the blue: “You don’t have to go and look, Dad. There is a ghost with her and it will leave soon.”
Now remember, he is four years old, open to life and innocent. By the way I don’t talk to my children about ghosts or monsters. I don’t know why he said it or if he saw or sensed a ghost. I did not say anything, neither did my husband. I know that I did not see or feel anything, and I was to sleepy to bother. It is something that he said and to him it made sense. It was real for him. It is his personal observation and I don’t have to validate it for him.
What would happen if I tell him that ghosts are not real and that he is making things up? That would not crush him, but it surely does not uplift him and encourage him to keep sharing his feelings or intuition.
I know that I did forget all about my intuition and my feelings, slowly but surely. When I said something about what I felt in a room or about people, it was not validated as my truth. Listening to the voice in my head and to others became the thing to do. I had no idea any more about my feelings as part of the intuition, that I could make use of that too. Perhaps the same thing has happened to people who think that they are not born as a paranormal or intuitive person.
P.S Someone tipped me on research about Telephone Telepathy & email telepathy as presented by Rupert Sheldrake at the BA Festival of Science in Norwich in September 2006. The results of his experiments proved that such precognition existed for telephone calls and even emails. Here is an online article in the Times online of September 5th 2006 about the uproar this created.
