At school my son (4) practices the letters of the alphabet. The device used is a letter table. This week is letter L. Over lunch we discuss things to put on, since he is asked to bring things from home to put on the table.
Conversation comes to the thing called Life. Can we put that on the table? “No Mum, life is inside of you. You cannot put that on the table.” What about Love? “No, Mum that is the same. It is inside of you.”
I will leave you with this quote:
“People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering.” St. Augustine
