I joined the ‘community’ in the proper way while you were away.
Thanks Anthony. I noticed that your amount of posts and weblogs is still increasing. Man, where do you get the time? 🙂
Also what is joining in the proper way? You get me curious here. RW
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that you will share your adventures with us. I have missed you and the wisdom you share with us. Glad you are back.
Hi Bill, thanks for the sweet words. You had a warm humid summer, we had a cold one, maybe move over to Europe? I wish you could travel still, so many of your readers could enjoy you in person as well. Have not read any of your posts. Will do so before I leave again. RW
You live on a boat? How cool is THAT? Yes, can’t wait to hear some of the highlights of your adventure.
Yes I live on a boat for 12 years now. On the weblog there are some pics of it. I have a writers block on the adventure, you might have to wait a little longer. I liked your pictures of the picking of the fruit. Did you make jam? RW
I have taken up life again, I have put some photos on Flickr too. Now I am working on my leave in three days time. Proof walking on the old leather boots, putting shampoo in a very small container, pre-packing all my stuff. I have 5 kilo to carry. That is water excluded. You were properly introduced, to me. I will ask Anthony to explain himself.
Got your e-mail, RW. I seem to have intrigued people. Don’t worry Ruby, you’re doing it in the ‘proper way.’
What I meant was that, when I began Beyond the Blog I treated it more as a website, a way to get my ideas out as a process of furthering my career as a writer.
The idea of actually joining a community of bloggers and taking part in commenting, and even writing about my life, didn’t come until recently in a definite way.
So I therefore mean, it wasn’t until I started ‘Diary of a Writer’, and began ‘connecting’ with others that I considered myself a blogger.
Now, I’m proud to be one, and am enjoying myself.
Hope that clears it up, RW.
I guess you’ve all socialised me 🙂
