This question is one that pops up often in discussions I have with others. Can you develop the paranormal side or is it just something that comes with some people only at the time of birth? Just one more of the many sides to the argument of nature versus nurture. How about it? A first attempt to open discussion on this.
Most often heard is that you need to see auras, angels, spirits, entities and the future to be called paranormal. When you are missing out on one or a lot those specifics, you will never be paranormal. Wrong. Being paranormal is a normal thing, paranormal traits can be developed. Or at least you can become more aware of them.
First there is the people that are obviously born paranormal. They have the easy road. Maybe. Since they also have to learn how to deal with what they might see or hear or sense. It happens that children display paranormal characteristics from an early age. They may dream about the future or they can see dead people standing next to you who have a message for you. This kind of people are born paranormal, no mistake about it. They may have to learn what it actually is that they experience. As soon as they talk about it mostly parents and people close to them will notice. The first feedback on how above the normal they are. Keywords are sensitivity and living consciously.
Are you paranormal?
Some people are by nature highly sensitive. But this is not always so, it is like day and night. Sometimes you feel and sometimes you don’t.
You can see the aura better in the evening or you may dream about things to tell you about events that have not happened yet. And you might also have the regular dreams any one else has. The distinguishing factor is the naturalness of it. Feeling things is so natural that you hardly notice that it is there.
When I grew older, I found out that all people feel different. They have a different sensitivity to the world. I thought that we all felt the same. I had no idea that it was different. Once I knew I checked and checked with others how things were appearing to them. An eye-opener, since feeling is my second nature.
In my humble opinion even when you are not born paranormal you still are paranormal. It is such a broad term and it can mean just about everything. Read the excellent explanation of Paranormal in general on this website. It gives a good idea what it is and in what forms it can exist. It has become something special but it is the most normal thing in the world. Really. All the things you experience are your personal experiences. If we don’t validate what we feel, what are feelings to be used for?
What is your take on this? Are people paranormal from birth, made or something else?
